I decided to base my 500 words essay around the design 'FAC-1', created by Peter Saville in 1978. It was created to advertise the first night at new night club, 'Hacienda' in Manchester. I like the simplicity of the design and also the contrast of bright and dark colours (black and yellow). This design has given me great inspiration when creating my final designs, in particular the type faces and rules used.
