'Sharks Are Circling' references to the world we live in, and everybody not being afraid to say something or have a go at someone else. The idea that everybody is ready to say something about a situation and that the world isn't as innocent as it used to be. This is shown through the lyric 'The acid tongue drips from their lip' which means that no one is afraid of saying a hurtful comment whenever they feel obliged to.
